Ashland County Sheriff’s Office Executes Search Warrant in Ongoing BCI Investigation
Ashland County, Ohio – On August 21, 2025, the Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, working in cooperation with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), executed a search warrant in Ashland County as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
Authorities have confirmed that Brandon Mosher, Chief of the Polk Jackson Perry Fire District Fire Department, is the suspect in this case. The investigation began several months ago after law enforcement received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children.
At this time, Mosher is currently incarcerated pending further proceedings.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional information will be released at a later date. Sheriff’s officials emphasize that this information is being provided for public awareness and is not intended to cause alarm or concern to the community of Ashland County.
