Officer Stabbed, Suspect Killed in Incident at Ohio Arby’s

On the night of December 7, 2024, a confrontation at an Arby’s restaurant in Shelby, Ohio, turned violent, leaving one officer injured and a suspect dead.

Around 11:18 PM, Sergeant Noah Kocher and Officer Dominic Ewing attempted to serve a warrant on Tyler Jacobs at the Arby’s located at 234 Mansfield Avenue. The warrant had been issued by Shelby Municipal Court.
