The Franklin Township Fire Department will celebrate its 75th anniversary with its annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crestview Elementary School, located at 1575 State Route 96 in Ashland, Ohio.

Founded in 1951, the department is marking 75 years of service to the community while hosting a family-friendly fundraiser designed to bring residents together and support the department’s ongoing needs.

Attendees can enjoy homemade ice cream while supplies last, along with food, a bounce house, touch-a-truck displays featuring multiple agencies, children’s activities, and more.

Funds raised during the event will help the Franklin Township Fire Department purchase and maintain the equipment needed to continue providing emergency services to the community.

Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend, enjoy an evening of family-friendly activities, and help support the firefighters and emergency personnel who serve the area.
