MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Mansfield Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire on Helen Avenue at approximately 6 p.m. on May 30, 2026.
A garage and a boat were destroyed in the fire and are considered a total loss. An estimated two to three additional structures sustained damage.
The structures were located in close proximity to one another. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, preventing the blaze from spreading further and causing more extensive damage to neighboring properties.
An arson investigator was called to the scene, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
No information regarding injuries was available at the time of publication.
